Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Redmond is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Redmond follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I do not recommend that they require a license, I only need to buy some plants, I just need to see my beautiful garden and they did not sell me the plants.

My experience is those who 5-star this nursery are a narrow niche that tick all the perfect boxes. And the 1-star ratings are those professionals that may need a little help navigating the yard, whether language barrier or otherwise. Expecting a perfect botanical name, genus, variety, etc is good. It's also reasonable that any professional nursery understands the common names of these plants, because, well, not everyone is as perfect as them. It really shouldn't be so hard, but I've seen it as well. Lots of elitist attitude here. If you're in the group, they love you. If not, they're rude. That's why you see the variation in reviews. I haven't bought from them as their prices are very high comparatively. I won't buy from them as I've seen how they treat people.

One of my favorite nurseries to personally pull plants for our landscape construction projects. Inventory is easy to find, doesn’t require hiking (or driving) across acres of greenhouses, and the people are helpful. Thank you Laura and team

This is one of the best wholesale nurseries in our area. The staff are able to source plant material from all over the country. Huge inventory of landscape size Japanese maples and a wide variety of perennials, even during the winter so that you can get your projects installed year-round. They are active in the horticulture community and partner with local colleges. My go to!

These guys are the best! They are a wholesale nursery and the client is expected to know what they are looking for, checking ahead of time for availability and not anticipating help while shopping. This is typical for the industry. I always leave with a smile as the staff is always laughing, singing and generally happy people. When I email with a pull order or plant procurement request, they have always given me suggestions if they cannot procure my specific request. I have been there three times when myself, another landscape professionals and a delivery took place when everyone stopped shopping, office work stopped to help load/unload a vehicle to keep things running smoothly. This only happens when the culture of the place is that of kindness.
